Chinese Spring Festival 2022 will start from Jan 31th to Feb 6th, and our company will office will be temporarily close from Jan 29th to Feb 7th, and the mass production workshop will be close from Jan 26th to Feb 15th.
2021 is a challenging year.
At the beginning of the epidemic in 2020, due to the surge in demand for PPE products in the global market, many companies in other industries started to establish production workshops for PPE products. For example, BYD established the largest production workshop for protective face masks in China. Some industries such as clothing, leather bags, toys and other factories are at a standstill, in order to maintain the operation of the factory, some companies have begun to turn to the PPE industry, modifying the production line and try to produce disposable face masks, bodywear (such as disposable isolation gowns and coveralls, boot covers).
However, for most factories with a late start, after the production line is completed and the production process is gradually proficient, the demand for PPE products begins to drop sharply, and with the increasingly standardized quality requirements of the domestic and international markets for product quality, it is difficult for factories to switch to other industries. Professional problems are highlighted, and there are even factories that cannot sell their products because they do not have the corresponding supply qualifications. In the end, most of the switching factories suffered huge losses and have to close the production.
As the market is further cold, many professional factories who have been engaged in the production of PPE products for many years also close their workshops due to low orders.
